Revealed during the 2019 Interim Union Budget, this program provides ₹6,000 per year to qualified farming families, which is paid out in three equal installments of ₹2,000 each.

PM Awas Yojana-Gramin

The Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin (PMAY-G) is a government initiative aimed at providing affordable housing to the rural poor, ensuring that families living in kutcha houses or without shelter can move into permanent homes with essential amenities.


The Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA), initiated by the Government of India (Ministry of Rural development) in 2006, guarantees 100 days of wage employment per year to every rural household willing to do unskilled manual work.

Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY)

The Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB PM-JAY), offers free health coverage to India's poorest 40%, covering hospital costs for about 50 crore people. Launched in 2018, it provides health cover up to Rs. 5 lakh per family yearly at various hospitals.
