Aahar Jharkhand (PDS)
Aahar Jharkhand is the Public Distribution System (PDS) portal of the state of Jharkhand, which helps ensure food security for the state's residents. The system provides subsidized food grains and essential commodities to eligible beneficiaries under various categories of ration cards.
It categorizes households based on their economic status into APL (Above Poverty Line), BPL (Below Poverty Line), and AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojana).

Check Ration Card List
To see the ration card list in Jharkhand, just follow these steps:
- Step 1: Visit the Aahar Jharkhand portal at aahar.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Step 2: Click on the लाभूक के कार्ड की जानकारी option in the navigation menu.
- Step 3: Select the पात्रता सूचि (मासिक) option to view the list of cardholders receiving monthly ration.
- Step 4: Choose your district, block, dealer, card type, and the month and year.
- Step 5: Enter the captcha and click submit to see the list for the specific area you selected.
Ration Card Details Check
To find RC Details, please follow the steps provided below.
- Step 1: Navigate to the Aahar Jharkhand portal at aahar.jharkhand.gov.in.
- Step 2: Select the राशनकार्ड विवरण option from the navigation menu.
- Step 3: Choose your district, block, village, card type, or enter your ration card number directly.
- Step 4: Input the captcha code and click on the submit button.
- Step 5: The system will display your ration card details.
Download
To download your ration card, simply visit the card details page, enter your card number and captcha, and then click the submit button. Your card will then be available for download.
Green Card Application
The Green Card in Jharkhand is primarily meant for individuals or families who may not fall under the BPL or AAY categories but still require assistance, such as those from economically weaker sections.
To apply for a Green card in your state, please follow the steps outlined below.
- Step 1: Visit the Aahar Jharkhand portal.
- Step 2: Click on "Green Card" in the navigation menu.
- Step 3: Choose "Green Card Online Registration" from the dropdown menu.
- Step 4: On the new page, select "Register to Apply for Ration Card."
- Step 5: The registration form for the head of the household will open. Fill in the required details and click on "Register."
Check Application Status
If you've recently applied for a ration card and now wish to check its status, follow the instructions below.
- Step 1: Go to the official portal.
- Step 2: Select "Green Card" from the navigation menu.
- Step 3: From the dropdown, click on 'Green Card Online Registration'.
- Step 4: On the new page, choose "Check Application Status."
- Step 5: Enter your ration card number or acknowledgment number and press the search button.
Ration Card Types and Eligibility
