Over 18 lakh women received ₹5,000 each, amounting to a whopping ₹900 crore, credited directly to their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT). This milestone reflects the scheme’s growing reach.

- Pending Payments and Survey Plans: On March 19, 2025, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida revealed that around one lakh women missed the second installment due to mismatches in ration card and income details. To address this, a “one-to-one survey” will begin after March 31, 2025, ensuring these women receive their dues by Raksha Bandhan 2025.
