The government of Bihar launched a major digital project called the State Social Protection Mission Information System (SSPMIS) to organize and oversee the state's several social security pension programs.

Mukhyamantri Vridhjan Pension Yojna (MVPY)

Application Process
To apply for the Mukhyamantri Vriddhjan Pension Yojna (MVPY) in Bihar, just follow these steps:
- Step 1: Go to the official website: sspmis.bihar.gov.in.
- Step 2: If you are a new user, click on the "Register for MVPY" link.
- Step 3: Next, fill in the required details, including your name, date of birth, address, Aadhaar, EPIC No and mobile number.
- Step 4: Click on the Validate Aadhaar button below and complete Aadhaar verification by entering your Aadhaar number and OTP (One-Time Password) sent to your registered mobile number.
- Step 5: Now Click on the proceed button.
- Step 6: Carefully fill out the application form, providing accurate personal details, contact information, and bank account information. Ensure that the information provided matches your supporting documents.
- Step 8: Scan and upload all the required documents as per the scheme's guidelines. This typically includes:
- Aadhaar Card
- Age Proof (Birth Certificate, Voter ID, etc.)
- Residence Proof
- Income Certificate (if applicable)
- Bank Account Details
- Passport-sized photograph
- Step 9: Review all the entered details and uploaded documents carefully. Once satisfied, click on the "Submit" button to finalize your application.
MVPY Application Status
- Step 1: Go to the official SSPMIS website.
- Step 2: Click on the "Register for MVPY" link.
- Step 3: Now click on "Search Application Status" and enter the Beneficiary ID, Aadhaar number, account number, or sanction number.
Enter the captcha and click on "Application Status" to check the status of your application.
Laxmi Bai Social Security Pension Yojana
This state-specific scheme complements the IGNWPS by extending financial support to all widows above 18 years, regardless of their age, provided their annual family income remains below ₹60,000.

Bihar State Disability Pension Scheme

You can check the beneficiary payment status through the eLabharthi Bihar Portal - elabharthi.bih.nic.in. Visit the Beneficiary Payment Status page, select the financial year, enter your beneficiary ID, account number, or Aadhaar number, and click the search button.
View Scheme-wise Reports
