How to do a PM Kisan Online Refund?

The process for making a PM Kisan Online Refund is given below in a step-by-step manner:

Go to https://pmkisan.gov.in/ and select the 'Online Refund' option in the Farmer's Corner.
Click "Select this option to refund the amount online" if you haven't paid before.

Enter either your Aadhaar, account, or mobile number, then click "Get Details".

On the next page, find your scheme details, click "Refund", input the required info like email, mobile number, and bank details, and complete the online refund process.

After making the refund, the farmer must give an application and the refund receipt to the District Agriculture Officer or Agriculture Coordinator.

Reason for Refunding PM Kisan Benefits

Farmers who are found ineligible due to income tax or other issues and have received PM Kisan installments must return the funds to the government. The scheme is designed to support poor farmers who qualify.

There have been instances where both husband and wife have received benefits from the PM Kisan scheme. Eligible small and marginal farmer families receive Rs. 6000 annually, paid in three installments of Rs. 2000 every four months into their Aadhaar-linked bank accounts.
