RajSSP - Social Security Pension Schemes

The Government of Rajasthan has launched an important social welfare program called the Rajasthan Pension Scheme, or Rajasthan Social Security Pension (RajSSP) Scheme.

It offers financial assistance to those who are weaker members of society, such as elderly farmers, widows, people with impairments, and senior citizens.

Overview of the Scheme

RajSSP is designed to provide financial security and enhance the quality of life for its beneficiaries.

This scheme complements the central aid provided under the National Social Assistance Programme (NSAP) and is rooted in the principles of the National Policy for Social Assistance for the poor, introduced in 1995.
