The Bihar government has established the EPDS Bihar portal, epds.bihar.gov.in, is Official Website for Ration Card Management System.
The Ration Card Management System, or Jan Vitran Ann (JVA), is an online tool for managing ration cards under the National Food Security Act.
It supports creating, modifying, and surrendering cards, as well as handling family splits, card type changes, and head of family changes.
Bihar Ration Card List 2024
If you've applied for a ration card and want to see if your name is on the Bihar ration card list, follow these steps:
- Go to the EPDS Bihar portal.
- On the homepage, click on "RCMS Report."
- On the new page, select your district, block, Panchayat, and village.
- Then, the ration card list for your location will appear.
Application Process
If you live in Bihar and need a new ration card, follow these steps:
- Visit the EPDS Bihar Official Website - epds.bihar.gov.in.
- On the homepage, click on "Apply for Online RC" in the "RC Online" section.
- On the next page, click on "Login."
- Log in through "Meri Pehchaan" with username and password. If not registered, click "Sign up for Meri Pehchaan," create an account, and log in.
- Then, click "Apply" and choose "New Apply" for "Rural" or "Urban" Ration Card
- Fill out the Bihar Ration Card form with applicant details and submit. For additional members, select "Add Member."
- Upload documents like Aadhaar, bank details, residential proof, family photo, signature, and income proof.
After uploading, select "Go For Final Submission" to review, then click "Final Submit."
Ration Card Status
First, visit the RCMS Bihar Ration Card official site- rcms.bihar.gov.in. On the homepage, click "Application Status" in the top menu.
Then, choose your district and subdivision, enter your "RTPS number" in the box, and click "Show" to view your status.
RC Details Check

- First, visit the Bihar ration card portal.
- Click on the "RC Details" option available on the homepage.
- On the new page, enter your district and card number.
