In Madhya Pradesh, the Samagra ID is a unique nine-digit number given to residents, making it easier for them to use government services and benefits. This nine-digit identifier ensures quick and direct access to government services like education, healthcare, and food assistance for residents of Madhya Pradesh.

Citizens of Madhya Pradesh can apply through online mode, following these steps:

It's against the rules to make a new Samagra ID if you already have one. Check if you have an ID before creating a new one. Aadhaar is required, and you can verify it through OTP or biometrics.
  • Step 1: Visit the Official Samagra Portal
    Access to start.
  • Step 2: Register family/member in Samagra
    Click on the "Register family" option on the homepage. Enter the family head's Aadhaar-linked mobile number, and enter the OTP sent to the registered mobile number.

If you wish to add a member to an existing Samagra ID, select the "Register Member" option and complete the form.
  • Step 3: Fill the Registration Form
    Provide the family head's details and upload necessary documents, then request and enter OTP for new family registration verification.

Enter your name and birthdate exactly as they appear on your birth certificate. If there's no birth certificate, make sure the information matches across all documents.
  • Step 6: Add Family Members
    Optionally, add members individually through "Register Member option".

You can add a family member if they have an Aadhaar card. If the family member is younger than 5 years old, they don't need an Aadhaar card to be added.
  • Step 7: Submit Application
    Complete all the details, enter the captcha, and submit your application for processing.

A temporary ID will be given to you after you submit the names and information of the head of the family.

Then, print this out and attach the Aadhaar cards of all the members of your family, and take these documents to the nearest Gram Panchayat or Urban Body office for verification.

After this, within 24–48 hours, you will receive your family Samagra ID on your registered mobile number. With the help of this, you can access the official Samagra portal and download your member IDs.

    On the new page, enter your Samagra member ID or family ID, then click on the option to print the card.

E-KYC Process

To complete e-KYC / Link Your Aadhaar With Your Samagra ID, follow these steps:

Before starting Aadhaar e-KYC, you'll receive an OTP on your mobile for verification. You must enter this OTP to proceed with the e-KYC process.
  • Step 3: Enter Samagra ID
    Input your Samagra member ID to search and select it to proceed.

    You can complete your e-KYC through Aadhaar verification and also update your profile.
After completing KYC, you can check its status by clicking on Know your e-Kyc and DBT Status option in the Update Samagra Profile section.

If you want to update your profile, follow these steps:

  • Step 1: Access the Homepage
    Go to the homepage of the Official Samagra portal.
  • Step 2: Choose Update Your Profile option.
    Click on the Update your profile option under the "Update Samagra Profile section" on the homepage.

    Enter your Samagra ID to proceed with updates to your profile.

An OTP will be sent to the mobile number associated with your Samagra ID. If your mobile number is not linked, you will need to complete e-KYC first.
